Tour Itinerary

Day 01 Arrival of Beijing
On arrival in Beijing, you will be met by our professional tour guide and transferred to your hotel in Beijing. Free for rest of the day.
Day 02 Beijing (BLD)
After breakfast at your hotel, tour to the Forbidden City (the Imperial Palace), the Tiananmen Square, the Fragrant Hills and the Summer Palace. Enjoy the Beijing Duck Dinner and the Peking Opera in the evening.

Forbidden City: Used to be the imperial palace of the Ming (1368 - 1644) and Qing (1616-1911) dynasties.
Tiananmen Square: Tian'anmen was the front gate of the Imperial Palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties. In front of the gate is the world's largest open ground in the city - the Tian'anmen Square.
Fragrant Hills Park: The park is situated in the east part of the western hills, In 1186, in the Jin Dynasty, Fragrant Hills Park Temple was built and terraces, pavilions and pagodas were added by the subsequent dynasties. The area was later converted into a park and was named the Park of Tranquility and Pleasure.
Summer Palace: A magnificent imperial garden, the largest ancient preserved garden in China and a former summer resort for emperors.

Beijing Duck Dinner: The most delicious food Beijing has to offer.
Peking Opera: The most influential and representaive of all operas in China and has a history of about 200 years.

Day 03 Beijing (BL)
Morning excursion to the Mutianyu Great Wall. After lunch, visit the Ming Tombs and Sacred Way.

Mutianyu Great Wall: The Mutianyu area to visit the wall as it is less crowded than Badaling. It is a green section of the great wall in Beijing with vegetation, green pines and cypresses covering 90 per cent of the section.
Ming Tombs: The mausoleums of 13 emperors of the Ming Dynasty. The mausoleums have been perfectly preserved.
Day 04 Beijing (BL)
Take an excursion to Tanzhe Temple and Temple of Heaven.

Tanzhe Temple: A Buddhist temple built on a hillside and consists of various pavilions, prayer halls, courtyards and a group of pagodas dating from the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties. At one time, it was one of the most important temples in the nation.
Temple of Heaven: An outstanding representative of Chinese traditional architecture for its clever design and harmoneous colors. During the Ming and Qing dynasties, the emperor came to pray and thank gods for the harvests every year.
Day 05 Beijing (BL)
Morning tour to the Fragrant Hills Park, the White Cloud Taoist Temple, Yonghegong Lama Temple, and Confucius Temple. Take a Hutong tour at Shichahai in the evening.

Fragrant Hills Park: The park is situated in the east part of the western hills, In 1186, in the Jin Dynasty, Fragrant Hills Park Temple was built and terraces, pavilions and pagodas were added by the subsequent dynasties. The area was later converted into a park and was named the Park of Tranquility and Pleasure.
White Cloud Taoist Temple: In the 8th century, the Tian Chang Temple was built in Beijing to house a statue of Lao Tzu. Although it burned down in 1202, the statue was saved . In 1224, Genghis Khan ordered the reconstruction of the temple. It came to be known as the White Cloud Temple. Today it is one of China's oldest and largest Taoist temples, housing the office of Taoist Association of China.
Yonghegong Lama Temple: A Yellow Hat Tibetan lamasary and one of the city's finest and most celebrated temples. Its 5 main halls and many galleries are filled with exquisitely detailed tanka paintings and beautifully carved or cast Buddha images.
Confucius Temple: The temple was founded in 1302 by the Yuan dynasty and actually, more than a temple, it was a gathering place for those who aspired to pass the imperial exams in order to study and make offerings to Confucius to be successful with their exams.
Shichahai: Shichahai is Beijing's most popular hutong district, composed of the homes of Qing Dynasty merchants and aristocrats.The area is made up of three man-made lakes, Qianhai (Front Sea), Houhai (Back Lake), and Xihai (West Sea Lake).
Day 06 Beijing (BL)
Tour to Beihai Park and Beijing Zoo. Transfer to the airport for your departure, end of service.

Beihai Park: One of China's oldest and largest imperial gardens. Beihai Park lies to the northwest of the Palace Museum and was built in the 10th century.
Beijing Zoo: The zoo houses over 7,000 creatures of 600 different species, including the giant panda, red-crowned crane and Pere David's deer-all unique to China-as well as the African giraffe, rhinoceros, chimpanzee and antelope; American continent; wild ox from Europe; and elephant and gibbon from India.

The hotel is based on two persons sharing one twin or double standard room with private facilities.
2. Meals
Daily American or Chinese breakfast at the hotel, Chinese lunch and dinner in local Chinese restaurant as specified in the itinerary. B - Breakfast, L - Lunch, D - Dinner.
3. Private Transport
Private transport between airport or railway station and hotel and all the sights by air-conditioned vehicle.
4. Transportation between Cities
The economic class air tickets of the domestic flight or soft berth/seat train tickets between cities as specified in the itinerary.
5. Entrance tickets
The main entrance tickets for the sights mentioned.
6. Guiding service
Excellent tour Guiding. All normal sightseeing tours in each city with English-speaking guide and admission fees where applicable. Our guide will not fly with you from one city to another. Upon your arrival at each city, a new local guide and driver will pick you up, be with you for local tour and see you off after you finish the itinerary of each city. The cruise shore excursion is in-group assigned by the cruise company.
7. Insurance
China Life Tourist Accident/Casualty Insurance. We highly recommend that you purchase full coverage travel insurance from you country of origin.
8. Tibet Travel Permit application fee
The Tibet Travel Permit application fee if your tour covers Tibet.

Charge of obtaining your visa to enter China.
2. Charge of arrival and departure
The international or domestic air / train charge of arrival and departure.
3. Single Room Supplement
Should a twin room is needed by a single guest, supplement of the twin room will be charged.
What is single supplement? - The hotel is based on double occupancy. If the visitor travels alone or the number of the travelers is odd (such as 3, 5, 7...), who stays in one single room has to pay the single room supplement. As the hotel is on double occupancy.
4. Personal Expenses
Expenses of a personal nature such as laundry, drinks, fax, telephone call, optional activities or sightseeing, overweight baggage charges or meals not indicated, ect.
5. Optional Programs
Optional programs which are not specified in the above itinerary.
6. Tips to guides and drivers
Suggested tips: USD12-14 to tour guide per day, USD 8-12 to driver per day, but depending on their service, it's up to you.
