Nanhaizi Elk Garden
Elk Court is located in Daxing District, Langfang Nanyuan
to rural highway east deer enclosure Sanhaizi, 14 kilometers
away from Beijing City. An area of 60 hectares, is China's
first main way to free-range elk nature reserve. Elk is a
typical wetland animals, commonly known as Sibu Xiang, China's
specialty animal, in ancient times called moose, only produced
in China's northeast. Equipped with a small classroom for
science exhibitions and visits, a new type of diversity and
biological environmental science and education base.
Built in 1985, Milu Park, located in the
heart of the Qing Dynasty royal hunting area. UK Tavistock
Marquis presented to Beijing 20 elk in Elk Garden on stocking.
This is one of the most successful conservation of species
biodiversity paradigm. Nanhaizi have lush reed, muddy swamps,
breeding habitat for the elk to create a good environment.
In just eight years, the South China Sea Milu Park in elk
breeding from 20 to more than 200 head, second only to the
world's second largest Woburn Abbey Park Elk Court, Nanhaizi
resumed its unique style. Because the world all elk are raised
here are not reproductive rates and high survival rate. Milu
Park also introduced hog deer, sika deer, white-lipped deer,
red deer, roe deer and deer and other animals, is gradually
becoming a Chinese deer research and museums.
