Our guide will meet you in
your hotel in Beijing. Be transferred to Beijing
airport for the moring flight to Lhasa. Upon arrival
at the Lhasa Kongga airport, our local Lhasa guide
will meet you there and drive to your hotel. Have
lunch. Free at leisure to acclimatize yourself to
the high latituder.

on Barkhor Street after an interesting tour in Jokhang

Norbulingka: Built in 1751, it was the summer palace of Dalai Lama since the 7th century. In Tibetan, Norbulingka means "jeweled garden", it is surrounded by flowers, trees, ponds, terraces, and towers. This elegant palace contains some fabulous murals fusing Tibetan history and myth. In the palace there are many valuable objects, including antiques, gold ware, jade, Buddhist artifacts, and old furniture.
Sera Monastery: Built in 1419, this magnificent monastery covers an area of 114,946 square meters and is one of the three great monasteries in Lhasa. Sera Monastery boasts many precious cultural relics, it is famous for its "Buddhism Scriptures Debating" in the afternoon. Lamas usually have debates from 3 p.m., Monday to Friday.
