City: It was the imperial palaces of the Ming
and Qing dynasties, now known as the Palace Museum.
Located at the exact center of Beijing, Forbidden
City is the largest and best-preserved collection
of ancient buildings in China, covering a floor
space of 720,000 square meters, and having 9,999
Square: The square, measuring 880 meters from
north to south and 500 meters from west to east,
is seated at the center of Beijing. Tiananmen Gate
on the northern edge of the square used to be the
front gate of Forbidden City - the imperial palace
of Ming and Qing Dynasties. Around Tiananmen Square,
tourist can find National Museum of China, Great
Hall of the People, Chairman Mao's Memorial Hall
and Monument to the People's Heroes.
Palace: Initially built in 1750 by Emperor Qianglong
of Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), it is the most celebrated
imperial garden in China. The Summer Palace covers
an area of 290 hectares (717 acres) and holds over
3000 houses. The palace features hundreds of architecturally
distinct buildings, temples, halls, pavilions, pagodas,
bridges and corridors dispersed among magnificent
and elegant gardens.
After breakfast, pay a visit
to the Great Wall and the Ming Tombs. See the appearance
of the Bird's Nest (Olympic National Stadium) at
Wall: One of the true architectural wonders
of the world. It was first built about 2500 years
ago, during the period of the Warring States,
and was extended and fortified by subsequent dynasties:
Qin, Han and Ming, the Great Wall extends to more
than 5,000 kilometers.
Tombs: As one of the most popular attractions
in Beijing, Ming Tombs are located 50 kilometers
northwest of Beijing. They were built within a
natural basin, butted on two sides by the Yanshan
Mountain Range, which was said to stop winds carrying
evil spirits into the area. Ming Tombs are typical
examples of Chinese emperors' mausoleums and the
best testimony of China's long history and civilization.
Dingling Tomb, also known as the Underground Palace,
is the first imperial tomb to have been excavated
in China. While Changling Tomb was the first and
largest one built in the area.

decided 560 years ago to build a temple where
the emperors could worship heaven, a ritual which
he hoped would serve to perpetuate imperial rule,
the result was the Temple of Heaven. Situated
in southern Beijing, the Temple of Heaven park
covers 273 hectares, its main structures are two
groups of buildings on a north-south axis. The
temple buildings and surrounding area make up
one of the largest public parks in Beijing.
Lama Temple: The lamasery was built in 1694.
The temple's bell tower is the first structure
reached after passing through the front gates,
but the huge bell itself has been placed outside
the tower for all to see. The temple is a working
lamasery so it's closed early in the mornings
for prayer. With its beautifully landscaped gardens,
stunning frescoes and tapestries, and incredible
carpentry, the temple is a must for your Beijing

Set sail on the Yangtze River,
enjoy verdant mountains, tumbling waters and beautiful
sceneries. Take an shore excursion to Fengdu Ghost
City for an exploration of the special and mythical
ghost culture. Fengdu is where the devil lives according
to ancient fairy tales. Return to the ship and go
on the cruise.

Pass through Qutang Gorge
and Wu Gorge. Then switch to a smaller boat and
take adventure to Shennong Stream or Lesser Three
Gorges. Reboard the ship and continiue sailing.

Gorge, it offers the best viewing spot to view the
magnificent Kuimen Gate.
- Shanghai (Breakfast
Take a shore excursion to
the Three Gorges Dam (2.5 3 hrs). After the visiting,
you will appreciate the Xiling Gorge on the deck.
After lunch on board, You will arrive in Yichang.
Transfer to the Yichang airport and take flight
to Shanghai. Our tour guide will meet you transfer
to your downtown hotel. Have a walk along the Bund.
Bund: Located along the Huangpu River, it is
an exemplar of western style buildings, most of
them were constructed before 1937. Strolling on
the Bund at night is an amazing experience, as the
skyline on both sides of Huangpu River is illuminated,
including the grand buildings at the Bund and the
Oriental Pearl TV Tower and the skyscrapers across
the river. So it is really an enjoyable experience
to take night cruise on Huangpu River.
Visit World Financial Center,
a super tall skyscraper with breathtaking view of
Shanghai. Then explore Tianzifang Street which has
transformed itself from legacy residential architectures
and factories into an artsy area housing bars, cafes,
crafts shops, design studios, galleries and boutiques.
After lunch, visit YuYuan Garden and Shanghai old
town around the City God Temple.
Also called as the Yu Garden, is the most famous
classical garden in Shanghai. YuYuan is located
to the northeast of the old town, not far from The
Bund. It was built from 1559 to 1577 during the
Ming Dynasty. Each pavilion, hall, stone and stream
in the garden is expressing the quintessence of
South China landscape design from Ming and Qing
Temple: The temple is a well-known Taoist temple
within the old walled city. The City God Temple
connects to the Yuyuan Garden and the traditional
district of commerce. It is an attractive place
and shopping corner for visitors.
