you at airport. After claiming your

After breakfast at your hotel, tour
to the Forbidden City (the Imperial
Palace), the Tiananmen Square and the

Wall. After lunch, visit the Ming Tombs

Nanjing
- Wuxi (Breakfast,
Lunch)
Visit the Dr. Sun Yatsen's Mausoleum
and the Nanjing Museum. Transfer to
the railway station and take the soft
seat train to Wuxi.

Sun Yatsen's Mausoleum:
Sun has been respected as Father of
Modern China since he fought unyieldingly
against the corrupt Qing government
(1616-1911) and led the 1911 revolution
to end feudal system and found Republic
of China (1912-1949), leading Chinese
people into a new era.
Nanjing
Museum: The museum
has a collection of more than 420 thousand
pieces, including about 2,000 rare and
valued ones. |

Wuxi
- Suzhou (Breakfast,
Lunch)
Visit the Taihu Lake, the Liyuan Gardenand
the Turtle Head Islet. Transfer to the
railway station and take the soft seat
train to Suzhou.
Taihu
Lake: With an area
of 2250 square kilometres and an average
depth of 2 metres, Taihu Lake (or Lake
Tai) is the third largest freshwater
lake in China. Some 90 islets, large
or small, plus the presence of many
fleets of fishing junk boats add to
its landscape, making it a remarkable
spectacle.
Liyuan
Garden: One of
the famous gardens for lake scenery
in South China since the 40% of the
garden is covered with water.
Turtle
Head Islet: Wuxi's
most attractive park and the best place
to admire the beauty of Taihu Lake. |

Suzhou
(Breakfast, Lunch)
Visit the Humble Administrator's Garden,
the Tiger Hill, the Garden of the Master
of the Nets and the Lingering Garden.
Humble
Administrator's Garden:
It covers 4 hectares in northeast Suzhou.
It is the largest garden of the city
and a typical example of the art of
horticulture south of the Changjiang
river.
Tiger
Hill: The most
famous sight of Suzhou, with old trees
and cultural relics everywhere.
Garden of the Master of the Nets:
Built in 1174 A.D. during the Song Dynasty,
is characteristic of the most exquisite
garden-houses in Suzhou.
Lingering
Garden: With an
area of 23,310 sqm, Garden for Lingering
In is the best garden in Suzhou as well
as one of the four most famous gardens
in China. |

the soft seat train to Hangzhou.
Visit the Six Harmonies Pagoda.
Six
Harmonies Pagoda:
A perfect symbol of brick-and-wood structure
built in the ancient China. It is first
built in 970 AD in the Northern Song
dynasty (960-1127), in a way to press
down the evil of the river tidal bore
in Qiantang River. |

Hangzhou

Visit the Lingyin Temple, the West Lake,
the National Silk Museum of China and
the Red Carp Pond.
Lingyin Temple:
Founded in 326 A.D, and reputed as the
No. 1 Temple in Southeast China. The
24.8-meter tall Buddha statue in its
main hall is the second largest indoor
one in China.
West Lake: One
of the most famed tourist attractions
in China. For centuries, the West Lake
has been well known both for its picturesque
landscape and for cultural heritage
surviving yet illustrating the past
dynasties.
National
Silk Museum of China:
The first state-level museum dedicated
to silk culture and the biggest silk
museum in the world. |

Hangzhou

After breakfast, take the soft seat
train to Shanghai.
Visit the Shanghai Museum and the Bund.
Shanghai
Museum: The museum
boasts over 120,000 pieces of collection,
including bronze, ceramics, paintings,
calligraphy, sculpture, ancient Chinese
coins, jade furniture, and western art.
The
Bund: With a length
of 1 km, the bund is dotted with various
grandiose solid buildings of western
style dating back to the early this
century in its west. Due to these imposing
buildings, the bund is also reputed
as "an international exhibition
of architecture". |

Shanghai

Visit the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, the
Yu Yuan Garden and the Jade Buddha Temple.

With a height of 1,245 feet, it is one
of the tallest structures in Asia.
Yu
Yuan Garden: A
traditional Chinese park complete with
beautiful pavilions, miniature lakes,
bridges and rock formations.

Buddha Temple:
Built in 1881, one of the famous Buddhist
temples in East China. Here many ancient
statues, paintings, a complete set of
Buddhist scriptures (printed in the
Qing Dynasty), and over 7000 other rare
scriptures are kept. |
