Beijing
Upon your arrival in Beijing,
our tour guide will pick you up at the
airport and transfer to your hotel.

Beijing

Visit the Forbidden City (the Imperial
Palace), the Tiananmen Square and the
Temple of Heaven. Enjoy the Beijing
Duck Dinner and the Peking Opera in
the evening.
Forbidden
City: Used to
be the imperial palace of the Ming
(1368 - 1644) and Qing (1616-1911)
dynasties.
Tiananmen
Square: Tian'anmen
was the front gate of the Imperial
Palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties.
In front of the gate is the world's
largest open ground in the city -
the Tian'anmen Square.
Temple
of Heaven: An
outstanding representative of Chinese
traditional architecture for its clever
design and harmoneous colors. During
the Ming and Qing dynasties, the emperor
came to pray and thank gods for the
harvests every year.
Beijing
Duck Dinner: The most delicious
food Beijing has to offer.
Peking
Opera: The most influential and
representaive of all operas in China
and has a history of about 200 years.

Take an excursion to the Badaling Great
Wall and the Ming Tombs.
Badaling
Great Wall: The
best preserved part of the Ming dynasty
(1368 - 1644) Great Wall.
Ming
Tombs: The mausoleums
of 13 emperors of the Ming Dynasty.
The mausoleums have been perfectly preserved.

Beijing
- Xi'an (B/L/D)
Visit the Summer Palace. Transfer to
the airport for flight to Xi'an.
Visit the Ancient City
Wall. Enjoy the local speciality Dumpling
dinner this evening.
Summer
Palace: A magnificent
imperial garden, the largest ancient
preserved garden in China and a former
summer resort for emperors.
Ancient
City Wall: The
wall is 15 meters wide and 11.9 kilometers
in perimeter, it is the best preserved,
oldest and largest ancient city defence
system in China.
Dumpling:
A traditional and popular food with
a long history in China. There is a
popular saying in China: "There
is nothing more delicious than Jiaozi."

05 |
Xi'an
(B/L/D)
Visit the Terra cotta Warriors Museum,
the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Great
Mosque. Enjoy
the Tang Dynasty Dinner Show in the
evening.
Terra
cotta Warriors Museum:
The most significant archeological excavations
of the 20th century. It is a sight not
to be missed by any visitor to China.
Big
Wild Goose Pagoda:
The Pagoda was first built in 652 in
the Tang Dynasty. Xuanzang, a prominent
Buddhist scholar of the time, planned
to have ahuge stone pagoda built to
house the Sanskrit Buddhist scriptures
he had brought back from India.
Great
Mosque:Built in 742 A.D., the mosque
was restored in each of the Yuan (1271
- 1368), Ming and Qing Dynasties. The
distribution of pavilions, halls, towers
and platforms in the mosque is compact
and exquisite, blending the traditional
architectural styles of Islam and Han.
Tang
Dynasty Dinner Show: A
performance of Chang'an music and dances
that was originated in the Tang dynasty
of Chinese history over a thousand years
ago. |

06 |
Xi'an
- Chongqing (B/L/D)
Visit the Shaanxi Provincial History
Museum. Transfer to the airport for
flight to Chongqing.
Our guide will pick you up from the
airport. Visit the Chongqing Zoo and
Ciqikou old street. After dinner, board
the 4 star deluxe President Cruises
for a memorable voyage down the mighty
Yangtze River.
Shaanxi
Provincial History Museum:
Covers an area of 70,000 square meters,
the museum houses a large collection
of 113,000 historic and cultural artefacts
unearthed in Shaanxi, being an absolute
must for every visitor to the city.

07 |
Shibaozhai
/ (BLD)
07:30-09:30, disembark for an excursion
to Shibaozhai.
Shibaozhai was first built in Qing Dynasty
in 1750, the mountain looks like a rectangular
rock with sheer cliffs, and the wooden
architecture that is built by catch
upon the cliff with a height of 56 meters
and 12 stories, standing on the riverside.
Back to the ship and continue the cruise.
The Captain's Welcome Party will be
held in the evening. |

08 |
Three
Gorges / Sandouping / (BLD)
07:00-07:30, sail through the Qutang
Gorge, its towering rock formations
have names which reflect their bizarre
shapes such as Hanging Monk Rock or
Rhinoceros Looking at the Moon.
08:00-09:00, pass the second gorge -
Wu
Gorge, celebrated for its lofty
Twelve Peaks which almost blot out the
sky. The guides will talk about legend
of historic sites: Ancient Plank Road,
Mengliang Stairway and the suspended
coffins on the sheer cliffs.
10:00-13:30, disembark at Badong and
take a sampan tour to the picturesque
Shennong
Stream. The
Shennong Stream is a tributary carrying
clear, cooler water into the Yangtse.
The "stream" runs through
steep gorges, in which the ancient asian
Bahu people used to live, thousands
of years ago. Back to the ship and continue
the cruise.
16:00-17:00, pass the Xiling
Gorge. About 66 km long, it is the
longest of the Three Gorges and is entirely
within Hubei Province. This gorge is
full of shoals and rapid currents.
20:00, pass the 5-stage shiplock. Dock
overnight at Sandouping. |

Sandouping / Yichang / Shanghai /
(BLD)
08:00-10:00, shore excursion to visit
the Three
Gorges Dam, it is planned to be
by far the largest hydroelectric project
in the world. Back to the ship and continue
the cruise. Disembarkation
in Yichang
at about 13:00, Our
local guides will get on board to meet
you. Transfer to the airport
for flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival
transfer to your hotel. |

Shanghai

Visit the Shanghai Museum, the Oriental
Pearl TV Tower, the Yu Yuan Garden and
the Jade Buddha Temple. Enjoy the Portman
Acrobatic Show in the evening.
Shanghai
Museum: The museum
boasts over 120,000 pieces of collection,
including bronze, ceramics, paintings,
calligraphy, sculpture, ancient Chinese
coins, jade furniture, and western art.
Oriental
Pearl TV Tower:
With a height of 1,245 feet, it is one
of the tallest structures in Asia.
Yu
Yuan Garden: A
traditional Chinese park complete with
beautiful pavilions, miniature lakes,
bridges and rock formations.
Jade
Buddha Temple:
Built in 1881, one of the famous Buddhist
temples in East China. Here many ancient
statues, paintings, a complete set of
Buddhist scriptures (printed in the
Qing Dynasty), and over 7000 other rare
scriptures are kept. |

the itinerary of each city. The cruise
shore excursion is in-group assigned
by the cruise company.
