Tour Itinerary

Day 01 Beijing - Shanghai (Lunch)
Our Beijing guide meet you in your hotel and then take our private car to the airport. Take the morning flight from Beijing to Shanghai which takes 2 hours. Arriving at Shanghai, our local tour guide will meet you at Shanghai Airport. After lunch, have a walk along the Bund, then take a cruise on the Huangpu River. Transfer to your hotel.

The Bund: Located along the Huangpu River, it is an exemplar of western style buildings, most of them were constructed before 1937. Strolling on the Bund at night is an amazing experience, as the skyline on both sides of Huangpu River is illuminated, including the grand buildings at the Bund and the Oriental Pearl TV Tower and the skyscrapers across the river. So it is really an enjoyable experience to take night cruise on Huangpu River.
Day 02 Shanghai - Suzhou - Shanghai (Breakfast, Lunch)
Our guide pick you up from your hotel at about 08:00am, and help you to take high speed train from Shanghai to Suzhou. A 30 minutes train ride will take you to Suzhou. Visit the Zhuozhengyuan Garden (Humble Administrators Garden) and Liuyuan Garden (Lingering Garden). After lunch, take a rickshaw and ride through the streets of Suzhou, see local people's daily life, folk handicrafts and the ancient buildings. Be transferred to Suzhou railway station to board on the train back to Shanghai.

Zhuozhengyuan Garden: Covering 4 hectares, the garden is tactfully designed with the combination of islet, bamboo grove, winding rivers and pavilions. It is centered upon the broad expanse of a lake, making up about one fifth of the total area. The Humble Administrator's Garden was initially a private garden, and was originally built in 1509 during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644).
Liuyuan Garden: Occupying an area of 5.8 acres, the Lingering Garden is one of the four most famous gardens in China. The garden seeks to create stunning natural landscapes within limited space. Domiciles, ancestral temples, trees, and flowers blend harmoniously with their surroundings. The Lingering Garden has a history of more than 400 years; it was recorded by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 1997.
Day 03 Shanghai - Beijing (Breakfast, Lunch)
Visit World Financial Center, a super tall skyscraper with breathtaking view of Shanghai. Then explore Tianzifang Street which has transformed itself from legacy residential architectures and factories into an artsy area housing bars, cafes, crafts shops, design studios, galleries and boutiques. After lunch, visit YuYuan Garden and Shanghai old town around the City God Temple. Be transferred to Shanghai Airport and take flight for Beijing. Arrive Beijing, be met and transferred to your hotel, end of service.

YuYuan Garden: Also called as the Yu Garden, is the most famous classical garden in Shanghai. YuYuan is located to the northeast of the old town, not far from The Bund. It was built from 1559 to 1577 during the Ming Dynasty. Each pavilion, hall, stone and stream in the garden is expressing the quintessence of South China landscape design from Ming and Qing Dynasty.
City God Temple: The temple is a well-known Taoist temple within the old walled city. The City God Temple connects to the Yuyuan Garden and the traditional district of commerce. It is an attractive place and shopping corner for visitors.
